Matthew Foster
Science Guest
Matthew Foster Ph.D. transited from a budding physicist into rebellious operations research scientist. He has journeyed from the high desert of Los Alamos, NM, through the picturesque views of Bagram, Afghanistan, and ending at shores of Hampton Roads, VA. In 2008, Matthew semiofficially retired as a physicist and joined a military think tank.
He hosts
quarkytrons.com, blogging science back into fiction. Quarky Trons assists writers with the scientific details in their novels. He covers realistic cyber hacking, artificial gravity, the physics of super heroes, and deep space communications. His claim to famous involves degrees of separation between himself and the White House via the classic, now cheesy, 1980's movie Top Gun.
