Travis Surber is a self taught artist from Bassett,Va. From 2009 until 2014 he was the creator of the webcomic Hainted Holler which ran for over 800 strips. The gag-a-day strip centered around a group of Southern geeks and the weirdness they found in the small town they called home. After the strip ended Travis took several months off to focus on family and his day job. In January 2015 he launched All Purpose Nemesis, a site devoted to his new creative pursuits which include short stories, game design, and putting together a graphic novel inspired by his daughter. Travis was also one of the artists selected to create a piece for the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity's annual Red Dot Auction this year.
